What can be returned, what cannot, and what a cold-chain failure entitles you to.
Check the enclosed temperature record when the parcel arrives. If it shows the parcel went outside the stated range in transit, photograph the record and the packaging and tell us within 48 hours of delivery. We replace the lot at our cost or refund it in full, at your choice.
This is the return we most want you to make. Material that has been warm is material we do not want on a bench with our name on it.
Report a temperature excursion within 48 hours of delivery, with the record and packaging photographed.
Tell us within 7 days of delivery, with photographs of the parcel and its contents. We replace or refund, including the original delivery cost.
Where a delivery fails because an address was wrong or nobody was available to sign, the cold chain is broken and the lot cannot be resold, so a redelivery is charged as a new dispatch.
Once a vial has left our cold chain we cannot verify how it was stored, so opened vials and vials that have left the original packaging cannot be returned for resale. This is a condition of selling reference material at all, not a restocking policy.
Unopened vials in original packaging may be returned within 14 days by prior arrangement, at the buyer cost and using a cold-chain method we agree in advance. A return shipped without that arrangement cannot be refunded, because it cannot be resold.
Card payments are refunded to the card. ACH bank transfer and cryptocurrency payments are not reversible once settled and are refunded by bank transfer to an account in the buyer name, which takes longer and needs details from you.
This difference is why the payment method matters, and it is stated at checkout before you choose one.
